There is enough news to keep one busy all through.

I like that there are various sources and I can choose topics Im interested in and skip the rest. Theres always more than I can through in a sitting. Has been crashing lately, though. :(

Fantastic news source. Can pick and choose what I want to read as time permits. No problems with iOS 9 that Ive noticed.

I have a custom rss flowing through News app...problem is... The link to article link does not work. Makes the RSS feed useless...

News is a flexible, lightweight news reader that is ideal for someone looking to follow offbeat news sources. The notifications are especially nice. The big feature it lacks, though, is the standard iOS share function, allowing you to save articles to sources like Evernote, Pocket or other apps you might use to save or keep track of articles. Adding this would be a major enhancement.

This app falls short in a lot of important ways. You cant vote up/down stories that it feeds you, so its not going to learn the difference between what you want and what you want to avoid. If you choose to follow a site, youre going to get anything that the site has published. Theres no telling what that could be. Another thing is that there is no opening of a site in your browser, without some clever cutting/pasting. Plan to email yourself a link? Its HTML, so youre not going to get your link that way. Also, if youre in a page that doesnt have its name visible at the top, then get ready to go back to find it, because this app doesnt even think about letting you see a site domain. And the only swiping the app understands is "go back", so dont plan on any other swipe controls. By the way, if youre expecting settings, then look elsewhere, because if theyre in the app, then I cant find them. This is strictly bare bones, in my opinion.

No matter how many times I’ve added custom feeds, the app loses them soon afterword. Adding custom feeds is rather cumbersome as well. Layout and presentation are good.

Terrific for anyone who craves interesting, relevant news. Plenty of sources to select, always current. Definitely my favorite, go-to info hub!!

I do the choosing. App does not try to filter news based upon previous views or program biases. In this day of filtered news, this app opens the news up for indiscriminate reads.

What a piece of crap. Every time you try to read a news story you are bombarded with one ad after another. A total waste of time.

Yeah, I know its redundant, but it works! If I had a gripe, is turning off the alerts. I dont need to be alerted at 1AM about new news, itll still be new to me when I wake up!

Still in mourning from all the intuitive news articles I was accessing through Zite. This app you have to populate yourself, but its far better and easier to use than what flipbd currently exists as.

Im not sure if there is a problem with ios9 but Im getting maybe three news updates a day. Between the New York Times and Google feed along with sports updates, I should have at least 15-20 feeds consistently. Cant get app support either. Anyone else have this issue?

I love how I can customize news from major papers from all regions of the world.
